The problem
Family caregivers spend hours searching for local services, benefits and advice while looking after a parent. Care options are spread across dozens of sources, and general chatbots make up local providers that don't exist. That isn't acceptable when someone is making care decisions.
What we built
- A short guided conversation about the parent's physical and cognitive needs, written for people who aren't technical
- Recommendations by zip code across medical, social and community care
- Answers that check sources in order: Wisebird's own curated provider list first, then public data, and general AI knowledge only as a last resort
- Medicare quality scores from the CMS provider data, non-clinical services like Meals on Wheels and transport from the Eldercare Locator, which covers 600+ Area Agencies on Aging, and nearby places on a map from Google Places
- An admin upload so the team can add vetted providers from a spreadsheet
