The problem

Generic prep courses give every student the same plan, and answer keys only say right or wrong. The founder wanted a platform that adapts to each student, explains why an answer is wrong, and keeps parents and teachers in the loop. The product was designed with input from a Stanford PhD in education.

What we built

  • A content pipeline that turns printed test papers into digital questions with Mathpix, keeping math formulas in LaTeX so they render correctly
  • Adaptive practice: difficulty goes up once a student reaches 70% on a skill and eases off when they struggle
  • An AI tutor that explains mistakes step by step, grounded in a verified library of teaching material instead of the model's general knowledge
  • Separate portals for students, parents, teachers and admins, with Google sign-in
  • Stripe subscriptions paid by parents, plus free seats for students linked to a verified teacher
  • An admin dashboard to manage users and update the question bank
