The problem

Teams spent hours digging through folders or asking colleagues to find what a lease, a title report or an HR policy actually says. General chatbots couldn't help: they don't know the company's documents, they guess when they don't know, and sending files with social security or medical record numbers to an AI provider wasn't an option.

What we built

  • Plain-language questions answered from company documents, with a citation for every answer and an honest "I don't know" when the answer isn't there
  • A familiar chat layout with searchable history and modes for lease reviews, title checks and HR policy questions
  • Support for PDFs, Word files, spreadsheets and emails, with a daily SharePoint sync so the knowledge base stays current
  • A privacy layer that removes personal and health data, such as SSNs and medical record numbers, before anything reaches Azure OpenAI or Gemini
  • Folder-level permissions, a tone and style setting for each team, and voice input
  • Stripe plans with usage limits, and an admin dashboard for usage, costs and unanswered questions
